Hi everyone, Steve Backshall here. Did you know that around 90% of the coastal forests of eastern Africa have already been lost? Within this little-known global biodiversity hotspot, the Dakatcha Woodland stands out as a crucial Key Biodiversity Area and is in dire need of our help. That’s why Operation Ocelot’s Mission Three is so important. We’re aiming to help fund the expansion of the A Rocha Dakatcha Nature Reserve, creating a sanctuary for hundreds of species, including the endangered Sokoke Scops-Owl and the Golden-rumped Elephant-Shrew. Let’s work together to protect this incredible ecosystem!
